Laura Payne, DVM

Dr. Payne (formerly Fisher) was born in Columbus, OH, but lived in Florida for the majority of her life. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Tampa in 2005 and then her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Florida in 2009. Go Gators!

With a desire for a cooler climate and to be closer to the mountains, she moved across the country to Washington at the end of 2017. Dr. Payne was married in the summer of 2024 and now resides in Olympia. She shares her home with her husband and 4 cats (Max, Quentin, Onyx, and Ginny). Her veterinary interests are focused on internal medicine and outside of work she enjoys cooking, reading, and anything that gets her outside.
